Model 01 begins with a simple idea: a dress-leaning watch should have the substance to become part of daily life.

A textured dial, carefully balanced proportions and alternating case finishes give the design its character. Beneath it, the Sellita SW300 automatic movement sets the foundation for a slim profile.

A signature at twelve.

The Arch gives the dial a recognizable point of reference. A central guilloché pattern and subtle surrounding motifs reward a closer look.

Polished transitions meet a brushed case ribbon. The stepped architecture and angular crown are central to the intended character.

THE MOVEMENT

Built around the SW300.

The movement influences the entire watch: case proportions, dial position, hand stack and caseback depth. Choosing the SW300 supports the slim, refined profile we want to achieve.

Every visible detail depends on decisions you may never see. Model 01 is being developed as a complete watch—from its case construction to the way the dial, movement and hands fit together.

Prototype evaluation is the next opportunity to put those decisions to the test.

03 / OUR STORY

A name with
personal meaning.

Ponce Guzman began with an interest in watches and the idea that maybe I could design one of my own. What started as a personal project gradually became something more—a way to create something connected to family that could be shared, built upon, and carried forward.

Family can be complicated, and its meaning can change throughout our lives. For me, relationships that once felt distant gradually became meaningful parts of my life. That journey ultimately gave the brand its name.

Ponce is my biological father’s family name. Guzman is my biological mother’s. Bringing the two together represents two parts of my story converging and coming full circle.

Today, I’m building Ponce Guzman with the same quality I value in mechanical watches themselves: longevity. Something thoughtfully made, cared for, and capable of being passed from one generation to the next.

Ponce Guzman looks backward at where I came from, but it is being built for what comes next.

LOOKING AHEAD

Before the launch.

When will Model 01 be available?

The launch date has not been announced. Development and prototype evaluation come first; timing will be shared once the next milestones are confirmed.

Are the images photographs of the finished watch?

No. The images currently shown are development renders and design studies. Prototype photography will replace them as the project progresses.

What will be included with the watch?

The current plan is a premium leather strap, with black and dark brown choices. A sailcloth-style FKM strap is planned as a separate optional accessory. Final options will be confirmed before launch.

Has the price been announced?

Final retail pricing has not been announced. Confirmed pricing and availability will be published before orders open.

Will the brochure be downloadable?

Yes. Once the prototype has been evaluated, a downloadable PDF brochure will be added here alongside an online presentation of the watch.
